Week two of interning at Regan Communication Group started off with a hit on the greens. On Monday June 8th, 2015 we had the opportunity to staff Mohegan Sun’s interactive golf-themed advertising campaign in the financial district. As we took our talents to Wall Street we were excited to see our first event! When we arrived we were greeted by two bubbly Mohegan Sun staff members. These girls were responsible for getting Wall Street goers to try out the interactive display. They demonstrated for us how we were going to use our mobile phones as golf clubs and drive interactive balls onto the greens of The Mohegan Sun Golf Club. We were also given expert golfing advice from golf professionals Michel Painchaud, Head Golf Professional, and Philip Krick Jr, VP & Director of Golf Ops, on how to improve our strokes. Although they joked and yelled “fore” as we stepped up to the tee, we like to think they were impressed by our 200 yard drives. The event was so much fun, and the crowd was really excited about it! We were also lucky enough to be there when the reigning champion from last years competition, who won the trip for two to Mohegan Sun, came back to show Wall Street how it’s really done. We are excited to attend more events this summer and will be sure to keep you updated!
