Michael K. Frisby, an award-winning journalist and media strategist, counsels a wide range of clients on crisis communications, media affairs and political strategy, as well as messaging, litigation communications and minority outreach.
Michael started his firm in 2003 after spending four years at Porter Novelli Washington as Senior Vice President and Director of the Public Strategies & Outreach Practice.
Across his career, Michael has forged relationships with clients in different sectors across the country. By joining forces with the Joint Center Health Policy Institute, HPI and the AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust, the American Cancer Society, and others, he has consistently and successfully performed on a national scale, collecting millions of broadcast and print hits. He is regarded as one of Washington’s top media strategists.
During his six years as the chief White House Correspondent for The Wall Street Journal, he accompanied President Clinton on foreign visits, covered major international and domestic politic events, and cultivated connections with top influencers and administration officials, earning the 1998 Aldo Beckman Memorial Award. He has also appeared as a political analyst on various national television shows. Michael is a 1977 graduate of Northeastern University in Boston, Mass., where he received a Bachelor of Science in Journalism.
